ENRG Realty Teams With Trust & Will to Put Estate Planning in Agents' Toolkit

Partnerships·October 5, 2026

ENRG Realty is adding estate planning to the list of services its agents can offer homebuyers and sellers, through a new partnership with online provider Trust & Will.

Under the arrangement, agents can introduce Trust & Will's wills and trusts tools to clients at two natural touchpoints: at closing, when a new or changed property ownership situation is fresh, and again during the annual follow-up contact many agents already keep with past clients.

The timing is deliberate. A home is often the largest asset a person owns, and a purchase or sale is one of the few moments when families think seriously about who owns what and what happens to it later. Title questions, beneficiary decisions and the use of a living trust to hold property are all conversations that tend to surface around a transaction, yet most agents are not positioned to answer them and are cautious about straying into legal advice.

A referral to a dedicated estate planning platform offers a way around that. Agents can point clients toward a service built for the task rather than improvising, while the actual documents and guidance come from the provider. For the brokerage, it also gives agents a reason to reach out after the sale that has real value for the client, rather than a generic check-in.

Annual follow-ups are a core part of how many agents keep their pipelines healthy, since past clients are a leading source of repeat business and referrals. Folding in a practical topic like estate planning gives those touchpoints more substance and could help agents stay relevant long after the keys change hands.

The partnership reflects a broader pattern in residential real estate, where brokerages are widening their offerings beyond the transaction itself. Mortgage, title, insurance, home services and now legal planning are increasingly bundled around the sale as firms look to deepen client relationships and differentiate themselves in a competitive market.

Terms of the deal, including any fees, revenue sharing or rollout timeline, were not part of the announcement. As with any referral arrangement, clients will still want to weigh whether an online platform fits their circumstances, particularly where property, blended families or larger estates are involved.
